Our Approach

Every organization is different. At TSP Edge, we take great pride in first identifying the unique needs of our clients and customizing our solutions to meet those needs.

Coaching Philosophy/Core Values

We believe that the quality of our life is predicted by the quality of our relationship to ourselves, our community and to our purpose in life. This starts with knowing our values.

Joy

It is a choice.

What am I choosing today?

Candor

What isn’t said is often what really matters.

What am I avoiding?

Challenge

Real peace is found in finding comfort in the discomfort.

Where did I push myself today?

Our Process

Our process has been curated through years of trial and error. It is rooted in both behaviorial science and our experience as leaders in various executive roles.

01  Think

It is easy to jump to solutions. There is no shortage of solutions. But first we have to ask the right questions, challenge our thinking and explore the possibilities. Our process starts here.

02  Design

Based on THINK, we define a solution that will move your business and life forward. This may include assessments, workshops and coaching. Each client is unique and may require various modalities to break open your next chapter.

03  Improve

We execute the plan. All the while we are listening to the team for the impact. This allows us to improve not only the plan but the relationships at play. No plan is perfect, and with candid feedback we get smarter and move faster together.

Hey, I’m Tim Petron!

As a c-suite executive, I thought I had everything figured out. I was laser-focused on driving business results and climbing the corporate ladder. But what I didn’t realize was that my approach was ultimately self-defeating.

One day, I had a wake-up call that changed my life. A brave supervisor found the courage to tell me that I was burning everyone out. People were scared to make a mistake, and if I didn’t change, I would lose our best people. At first, I blamed them. I had saved the day countless times…how entitled of them. But then I realized that the problem was me.

I had been so far in the weeds of the business that I had become a bottleneck. My team knew that I would take care of everything, so they had stopped taking ownership of their work. I thought I was doing it right, but I was actually doing it all wrong.

That realization was a turning point for me. I began to shift my focus from micromanaging the day-to-day operations to empowering my team and building relationships with them. I started delegating more and trusting my team to take on more responsibility. Long story short, I focused on how I was showing up for myself and the the team. And, to my surprise, the results were amazing.

Not only did my team become more engaged and productive, but I also found that I had more time to focus on strategic initiatives that drove the business forward. The shift in my mindset and approach transformed not only my professional life but also my personal life.

That experience showed me the power of building strong relationships with my team and myself and creating a culture of trust and empowerment. It’s a lesson that I carry with me to this day, and it’s at the core of everything we do at TSP Edge.

Welcome to the journey,

Tim
